For the past 4 years, I have been working as a system engineer in the Middle East region. I enjoy acquiring knowledge, learning new skills, and working on exciting projects. Virus Transmission Simulation


Simulated a SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus and analyzed the effectiveness of various preventive measures on the simulation. The simulation was compared to a SARS-CoV virus transmission.

  • Various parameters like R0, k factor, preventive measures are defined using a configuration.ini file
  • Implemented and successfully ran unit tests with 80.5% coverage by line
  • Analyzed the worst-case growth of the algorithm and data structures like array, directed graph, and hash map was used

Market Place Portal - Skye (Amazon Clone)


The marketplace portal – Skye, is a Spring MVC web application. The application uses hibernate for database interactions with MySQL database. Users can register either as a seller or a customer. Depending on their role, various tasks can be performed. Seller can enlist their products in the application and customer can buy the products and track their orders.

  • Build a Spring MVC web application using hibernate for database interactions with MySQL database
  • Implemented role to role interaction (Web 2.0) among two separate user roles with different views and functionalities
  • Incorporated AJAX, many-to-one and one-to-one relationships, interceptors,Spring validation and Hibernate validation was used to validate the inputs

Medtech Healthcare System Application


The MedTech Healthcare is an improved java application for the healthcare system. This application is a single stop for patients to place all their healthcare needs like hospital visits, lab testing, pharmacy requirements along with insurance coverage. It keeps a track of patient health records and automatically process the insurance coverage.This application also helps to track and facilitates new drugs, test the drugs and attain FDA approval. Once approved it sends the drug to mass produced by the drug manufacture enterprise and be available in the pharmacy.

  • A java swing application for a multi-level healthcare ecosystem
  • Integrated google maps and SMS/Email features to alert the primary hospital in case of an emergency
  • Generated pdf history reports of the patient and graph reports analyzing the vaccine

Hospital Database System


The Hospital Database System helps in providing enhanced facility management and decision making. It avoids errors, tracks patient details, and generates MIS (Management Information System) reports on demand for better decision making and coordination among departments. The hospital has a dedicated department for COVID-19 patient treatment and research.

  • Loaded master data and transactional data to SQL Server Management Studio
  • Implemented Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and complex SQL joins to load and manipulate data
  • Modeled ER diagram and normalized tables to 3NF to avoid data redundancy
  • Used Tableau for generating reports based on the outcomes from data manipulation on the database

Movie Recommendation System


A recommender system was build to predict movies to users using content-based, collaborative and hybrid filtering on MovieLens 20K dataset.

  • Implemented the recommender system using python libraries like pandas, numpy,matplotlib,scipy and scikit-learn
  • Applied exploratory data analysis for visualizing data and investigating each component of the dataset
  • Compared the performance of TF-IDF, KNN and SVD algorithms based on RMSE value
